Deposits are non-refundable & non-transferable to another litter.

🐾 How My Waitlist Works

Waitlist deposit amount: $300

What You Can Choose:

✅ Gender
✅ Coat Type (Shorthair or Longhair)
✅ Color (Golden or Blue Golden)

Note: No waitlists kept for Blue Goldens Or Retired Adults

What You Can’t Choose:

❌ Parents
❌ Specific Pattern (like NY11 or NY12)
❌Picking order or choice between multiple kittens

Each litter is a surprise! Because I have both longhair and shorthair parents, I never know what mix of coat types, colors, or genders I’ll get, so I don’t do my waitlist by litters.

When you join my waitlist, you’re holding a spot in line for the next available kitten that matches your preferred coat type. While you can’t choose the exact parents or pattern, you can expect a sweet, healthy kitten raised with lots of love.

Waitlist timing is usually 3–6 months, depending on how many British litters I have coming up. If you’re flexible on parents and open to either NY11 or NY12 coloring, this is the best route for you!

Prefer to wait and see? You’re always welcome to follow my TikTok Stories or check available kittens on website , where I post kittens not claimed through the waitlist, perfect if you’re hoping for a kitten ASAP.

A $300 deposit is required to join the waitlist and goes toward your kitten’s final price.

What Happens After the Deposit?

During the first 0-4 weeks there isn’t much individuality, and the majority of group videos will be posted to social media & some will be shared with via an iCloud shared album. I will make sure you have seen my supplies page and if you have any questions about materials.

From 4-6 weeks it’s easier to distinguish between the kittens. Content will be posted every 3-4 weeks to their group iCloud link. Just sit back and enjoy watching them grow up! Family and close friends will be helping to handle the kittens. Kittens cry a lot and may seem shy since they are learning about the world. I will be sending blog posts going over what type of litter box to get & any other questions.

At 6-8 weeks their personalities have grown remarkably, and I will continue to upload content to the folders This is the most fun part as they get time to hang out with the big kitties and photos are effortlessly taken. Their spay & neuter appointments will happen in one month time.

Once kittens reach 8-9 weeks, I will help families choose their kitten in the order their deposit was received. At this time I do not allow home visits to pick out your kitten, but I offer multiple pictures and videos.

At this time, I will go over more care instructions & supplements. I will discuss with you a go-home date, vet care, and feeding plan.

On the About The Breeder page, I discuss more about how your kitten will be raised in our home and the different stages of exposure they will have.

At 9-10 weeks I will discuss feeding plans more depth including walking you through raw feeding if that’s what you choose to do. It is not mandatory, but HIGHLY encouraged.

Payment will be made in full 1-2 weeks before delivery. I send care and vet documents over email the day your kitten is delivered.💜

If you are picking up, you may pay once you arrive. You’ll be greeted by meet for a porch pick up.  Thank you for understanding!

Week 13+ I will reach out several times these first few days home to make sure you and your baby are settling nicely. If you have any questions during this time do not be afraid to ask me. I am full of helpful tips and happy to share. I may be a tad annoying 🫣 making sure everyone is okay. It’s important to let me know if you are struggling with anything! I plan to check in on you day 1,2,7,14 & 30!

At 8 months Once your kitten has grown and settled into their personalities more, I will request you fill out a Temperament & Quiz Questionnaire. Your honest answers will help me determine the type of cats I am breeding and to continue in the right direction!

Why Cheddar Bears?

I always raise kittens with you in mind. My goal is simple: that every family who adopts from our small cattery feels confident, excited, and completely in love with their new kitten.

I’m deeply committed to transparency and accuracy when it comes to describing each kitten’s personality, as well as the temperament of their parents. I carefully select only well-adjusted, affectionate, and socially balanced cats to be part of my breeding program. These are not just pets—they’re family companions, and temperament is everything.

I believe adopting from a breeder should be a positive and enjoyable experience. That’s why I go above and beyond to ensure each kitten is well socialized, healthy, and ready to thrive in their new home.

One of my personal goals is to earn over 100 genuine, positive reviews. That only happens by consistently offering great communication, transparency, and truly wonderful British kittens.
